Meet Your Inspector
My name is Michael Guedes Jr., and I am the main Inspector at Croton River Home Inspections. Like it was previously mentioned, I take pride in being “old school.” What does that mean? It means to treat people right, treat people like they are one of your own, and be genuine. Whether it’s good news or bad news, my clients will get the information that they need.
Home inspectors are held to stringent state and professional standards, yet I go above and beyond the minimum; I will report on any safety issues, any installation concerns or deficiencies, and many other concerns that are well above and beyond established Standards of Practice. I want to repeat that if you are my client, you are who I care about most. Home inspections are a vital part of your buying, selling, or maintenance experience, and if you choose me to help you on this journey, I'm here for you. From first-time home buyers, to retirees, to real estate investors, and everything in between, I understand your unique goals and needs.
I perform single family residential inspections, multifamily residential inspections, and condo inspections. I also provide additional services such as Radon Testing and various types of Water Testing. I am licensed in New York and Connecticut, and am fully insured. I am an InterNachi Professional Certified Inspector, I abide by all New York, Connecticut, and InterNachi Standards of Practice, and am held to strict Codes of Ethics. I maintain a strict continuing education schedule and stay up to date on new technologies, and methods.
